"René Grupp is the ideal candidate to lead Sievert into a new, successful chapter together with our team - at a time when the construction industry is facing significant challenges, especially in Germany. René Grupp has an excellent track record in sales and in driving new product ideas. The Sievert Group of Companies sees very significant growth potential, particularly in Eastern Europe and Asia, which will be leveraged under René Grupp's leadership. René Grupp creates a culture that promotes innovation, increases productivity and performance and in which employees can develop themselves further. Sievert's tradition as a family-owned company is of particular importance here," said Prof. Dr. Hans-Wolf Sievert, Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sievert SE, and Prof. Dr. Norbert Winkeljohann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sievert SE.
Sievert and Winkeljohann went on to say: "On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board and also on behalf of the Sievert family, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Jens Günther for five years of service to Sievert. Sievert is now a leading international company in the building materials industry. Jens Günther has transformed the company and successfully positioned it in the market." Under Jens Günther's leadership, the corporate group was streamlined, the legal form was changed to a European public limited company with the abbreviation SE (Societas Europaea) and Sievert was established as an umbrella and employer brand. Sievert sees itself very well positioned for the future, despite the current difficult market environment.
