Why solvent-free?
The detail waterproofing is a brush- and roller-applicable, single-component SMP liquid plastic that cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture to form a permanently elastic, crack-bridging seal. The material is solvent- and isocyanate-free, adheres to many substrates without additional priming, and is suitable without restriction for use on metals and many plastics, as well as on mineral substrates. Solvent-free formulation
IMBERAL® DAB LF 10S offers resource-efficient detail waterproofing because its formulation is consistently designed for 100% solids content: It is solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and styrene-free, so the material stays where it’s supposed to be instead of “evaporating” as a solvent component. At the same time, its single-component, ready-to-use formulation supports clean, predictable application on the construction site, without the need for mixing and thus without the typical mixing losses.
We also prioritize resource conservation in our packaging: The container is made in part from recycled plastic, a further contribution to reducing the use of primary raw materials.

What does “radon-proof” mean?
Radon-proof means that the penetration of radon—a naturally occurring radioactive gas—from the ground is effectively prevented. Transitions, connections, penetrations, and details in particular represent potential entry points where surface sealing alone is not sufficient. Processing
IMBERAL® DAB LF 10S is ready to use and designed for easy application on the construction site. The liquid plastic is applied directly from the container using a brush or roller and, in combination with the bonding membrane, forms a permanently robust detail seal. Thanks to its excellent adhesion properties, an additional primer is not required in many cases.
Processing Steps
Step 1
Preparation
Open the container and, if necessary, stir the contents briefly until a uniform consistency is achieved. The substrate must be sound, clean, and free of substances that could cause separation.
Step 2
First coat
Apply evenly and generously to the surface to be sealed using a brush or roller. Make sure the entire surface of the substrate is thoroughly coated.
Step 3
Insert the fleece
The DAKORIT® DV110 89V connective fleece is laid into the still-fresh coating without any wrinkles. The fleece is then pressed down gently so that it is completely embedded.
Schritt 4
Second coat – wet in wet
The second layer of IMBERAL® DAB LF 10S is applied “wet-on-wet” without any waiting time. The fleece is completely coated or rolled over until a continuous, uniform waterproofing layer is formed.
Easy processing, reliable sealing of details
Painting
Applying the product with a brush is excellent for hard-to-reach areas. It's ideal for use on details.
Rolling
The roller is suitable for flat surfaces. Applying paint with a roller saves time, but it is not recommended for hard-to-reach areas.

Reliable, long-lasting adhesion is crucial, especially for complex detail connections, since different materials come into direct contact with one another in these areas. A key advantage is that it can be applied to many of these substrates without the need for an additional primer. This significantly simplifies the workflow, reduces the number of individual steps, and minimizes potential sources of error.
If in doubt or when dealing with undefined substrates: Conduct a test application. If the first waterproofing layer is not reworked within 8 hours, or if it is exposed to rain, use the DAKORIT® HG bonding agent to ensure reliable adhesion.
